Mahón to Alicante, Spain

We left hospitable and beautiful Mahón taking course to Alicante, sailing around the southern shores of the Balearic Islands: Mallorca and Ibiza. We started with nice and sunny weather which followed us all the way to Alicante.

After we left Mahón, we sailed to the Colonia de S. Jordi anchorage located at the south end of Mallorca Island. With nice weather and our crew not being in a rush, we stayed there for three nights enjoying the surrounding area.

From the Colonia de S. Jordi anchorage, we sailed straight through to Alicante, a trip that took us two days of fair weather sailing. On September 21st, we docked at Marina Alicante, a place we were familiar with and had visited before while we sailed our Amel Euros 41′ in 2015.
