It has no boating facilities whatsoever and not even a cruise ship terminal. Oranjestad, the island capital city, seems to be a purely industrial and commercial harbor. There are clouds of dust being blown around the town and across from there is the basic and completely unprotected anchorage where we stayed.<\/p>\n<p>I had to dinghy out to shore to reach the Immigration and Customs office and even then, my landfall was stressful and irritating as there&#8217;s no dinghy dock around to speak of.
